Backstreet Boys continue Into the Millennium run
The Backstreet Boys launched the Germany residency as a stadium-scale version of their Into the Millennium show, a production built around the group’s 1999 album Millennium and its catalogue of major hits.
The official announcement described the Düsseldorf performances as the band’s only European shows of 2026 when the residency was first unveiled in December 2025.
Additional dates were later added in response to demand, bringing the Germany run to 10 performances.
The final date, October 7, was added in January 2026 after the group initially announced a smaller schedule.
The complete Germany date list now includes September 25, 26, 27 and 29, September 30, October 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7.
The Düsseldorf concerts are being held at Merkur Spiel-Arena, a venue that gives the group a larger setting than its Las Vegas residency while retaining the same broad Millennium-era concept.
Five more Sphere dates are on the calendar
The Backstreet Boys’ next announced North American performances are at Sphere in Las Vegas.
The current official calendar lists December 26 and 27, 2026, followed by December 31, January 1 and January 2, 2027.
The shows are part of the group’s Into the Millennium residency, which has been extended repeatedly since its debut at Sphere.
The band became the first pop act to headline the venue with the production, which combines live performances of familiar songs with Sphere’s large-format visual technology.
The schedule gives fans an opportunity to see the group during the holiday period, including a New Year’s Eve performance on December 31.
Dates and ticket availability can change, so prospective concertgoers should confirm details through the band’s official events page and the authorised ticketing provider before making travel arrangements.
What the current schedule means for fans
For Canadian fans, the published schedule does not currently list a Backstreet Boys performance in Canada.
The closest announced options depend on travel plans, with the remaining Düsseldorf shows offering the group’s European residency and the Las Vegas performances providing the next listed North American dates.
The Las Vegas shows also extend the group’s ongoing focus on Millennium-era material rather than signalling a newly announced traditional world tour.
The band released Millennium 2.0 in July 2025 as a deluxe reissue marking the original album’s 25th anniversary.
That release included remastered material, live recordings, demos and additional tracks, giving the current concert production a broader connection to the group’s late-1990s and early-2000s catalogue.
What comes next for the Backstreet Boys
The immediate next step is the completion of the Germany residency on October 7, 2026.
The group’s official calendar then points to the holiday-season Sphere shows in Las Vegas.
No new Canadian dates or separate full-scale world tour have been announced on the current official schedule.
That leaves the Düsseldorf and Las Vegas residencies as the main confirmed live commitments for the remainder of the published 2026-27 calendar.
Any future tour, additional residency or new music announcement would represent a separate update from the dates currently listed.
