Kylie Jenner’s reported role in Bachelorette Weekend
The story centres on a bachelorette celebration that turns deadly when the bride is found murdered in a swimming pool.
Jenner is expected to play the bride, whose death places her closest friends under suspicion as the series reconstructs what happened during the weekend.
The role has been described as the central figure connecting the mystery’s different storylines, although Hulu has not yet released a formal cast announcement or premiere date.
The series is being developed by writer Lauren Oliver and is based on an unpublished novel by Flora Collins.
Kapital Entertainment is attached as a producing partner, with the project connected to the broader Kardashian family production relationship with 20th Television.
Kim Kardashian is also attached as an executive producer
Kim Kardashian is expected to executive produce the project alongside Jenner, Oliver and Kapital Entertainment.
The sisters have already worked together as executive producers on Hulu’s unscripted series The Kardashians, which follows the family’s personal lives, businesses and public careers.
Jenner’s move into scripted television follows Kardashian’s recent expansion into acting and scripted production.
For Jenner, the new series would represent a significantly larger acting commitment than appearances in which she has played herself or made brief guest contributions.
What happens next for the Hulu project
The immediate next step is a formal series-order decision and further casting.
Hulu has not publicly confirmed a production schedule, episode count or release window for Bachelorette Weekend as of October 6, 2026.
Those details will likely determine whether the project moves directly into production or remains in development.
The series would also give Jenner a role behind the camera through executive production, allowing her to participate in decisions involving the project’s creative direction and presentation.
Why the project is significant for Kylie Jenner
Jenner has spent most of her public career in unscripted television, first appearing with her family and later becoming a major figure in cosmetics, skincare and fragrance.
Her Kylie Cosmetics brand continues to promote new makeup and fragrance products, including the Mood Stones fragrance collection and seasonal gift sets.
A starring role in a scripted mystery would place her in a different part of the entertainment business, where performances are judged separately from her established celebrity profile.
The premise also gives the project a built-in tension between Jenner’s public image and a fictional character whose death drives the plot.
There is currently no confirmed release date, trailer or complete cast list, so the project remains an early-stage television development rather than a finished Hulu title.
