The added October 21 performance gives Mars five Vancouver dates on the same tour, making the engagement one of the largest concert runs by a single artist in the stadium’s history.
BC Place previously said the four-date Vancouver booking had already set a venue record for the most shows by one artist on one tour.
The earlier record was shared by Taylor Swift and The Jackson 5, each of whom performed three shows at the stadium during a single tour.
What fans should know before the shows
BC Place is located at 777 Pacific Boulevard in downtown Vancouver, next to Stadium–Chinatown SkyTrain Station.
TransLink is encouraging concertgoers to use public transit and allow extra time for crowded trains and platforms during the performances.
As part of a collaboration with Warner Music Canada, a special announcement featuring Mars’s voice is scheduled to play periodically at Stadium–Chinatown Station on the five concert days.
The temporary announcement makes Mars the first musical artist to serve as a celebrity guest voice on a SkyTrain station announcement.
TransLink has previously used celebrity guest voices, including actor Seth Rogen and Canadian soccer player Christine Sinclair, for limited campaigns.
Tickets and venue details
Tickets for the Vancouver concerts are being handled through Ticketmaster, with availability and prices subject to change.
Ticketmaster listings state that ticket limits may apply and that verified resale tickets can appear if an event sells out.
Fans should check the official event listing for the specific date they plan to attend, rather than relying on resale listings or unofficial social media posts.
The Vancouver concerts form part of Mars’s 2026 The Romantic Tour, which also includes dates in the United States, Mexico and other international markets.
For people travelling from outside Metro Vancouver, the five-night schedule creates several weekday and weekend options, although downtown accommodation and transportation may be busier around the shows.
Why the Vancouver run matters
Vancouver is the only Canadian tour stop outside Toronto, according to BC Place’s announcement about the original four-date booking.
The expansion from one Vancouver performance to five reflects the scale of the booking at BC Place and gives the city an extended run rather than a single-night concert stop.
The final scheduled Vancouver performance is Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
