Ethan Klein is facing a major public setback after his wife and longtime creative partner, Hila Klein, said she had learned he had been having an affair.
The statement came after an announcement that the H3 Podcast was entering an indefinite hiatus.
Hila Klein’s statement was published on Instagram on Friday, October 23, 2026, according to posts documenting the announcement.
She said the alleged affair had continued for six months.
The allegation has not been independently verified, and Ethan Klein had not publicly responded in the available updates reviewed for this report.

What happened with Ethan Klein and the H3 Podcast?
The immediate professional development was the suspension of the H3 Podcast, the long-running show associated with Ethan and Hila Klein.
Ethan Klein had earlier indicated that the programme was being placed on an indefinite hiatus, without initially providing a detailed explanation.
The timing of the announcement sparked confusion among viewers because an expected episode did not appear as scheduled.
The programme had continued releasing frequent episodes in October, including crew-led instalments when Ethan was absent.
Apple Podcasts still lists the H3 Podcast as the official programme of Ethan and Hila Klein, but its latest visible listings do not establish when, or whether, regular production will resume.
Several H3 staff members and contributors were reported to have shared or amplified Hila Klein’s statement on social media.
Those posts added to the impression that the hiatus involved the wider production team rather than a routine scheduling break.
However, the precise employment and business arrangements between Ethan Klein, Hila Klein and individual crew members have not been publicly detailed in the material reviewed.
What has been confirmed?
The confirmed public developments are limited but significant: Ethan Klein announced an indefinite pause for the H3 Podcast on Thursday, October 22, 2026; Hila Klein made an allegation about Ethan Klein’s conduct on Friday, October 23, 2026; and the show did not proceed according to its expected schedule.
The available public information does not establish whether the couple has filed for divorce, whether the H3 brand will continue without Ethan, or whether the podcast will return in a different format.
Online speculation about those questions should not be treated as confirmed information.
The H3 Podcast is a major part of the Kleins’ public work.
The programme began in 2016 and has been published in multiple formats, including the H3 Show and H3 After Dark.
Recent episode listings show the production operating with a large on-camera and behind-the-scenes team, which means an indefinite pause could affect more than the two hosts.
Why the hiatus matters for the H3 brand
Ethan and Hila Klein built H3 around a shared on-camera partnership, with the podcast combining internet commentary, interviews, comedy and discussion of online controversies.
Hila has also been closely associated with Teddy Fresh, the clothing company founded by the couple.
That structure makes the latest development different from a temporary absence caused by illness or a production delay.
A personal dispute involving the two central figures could affect the podcast’s format, the role of the crew, brand partnerships and future use of the H3 name.
For now, there is no public timetable for a return.
The phrase “indefinite hiatus” means that no restart date has been announced; it does not by itself confirm that the programme has been permanently cancelled.
What happens next?
The next major developments are likely to depend on whether Ethan or Hila Klein issues a fuller statement, whether the H3 production team releases additional information, and whether new episodes are scheduled on the official podcast channels.
Until then, claims about the identity of any alleged affair partner, the couple’s marriage, the future of Teddy Fresh or the status of individual employees remain unconfirmed and should be treated cautiously.
The H3 Podcast’s official pages remain the clearest place to check for any verified programming announcement.
The podcast’s public listings describe it as the official show of Ethan and Hila Klein and continue to provide its episode archive.
