Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge’s conference in Drummondville
Lemay-Thivierge was listed on the official program for Saturday at 2:50 p.m. in Salle 1.
His presentation is titled “Rester debout, aller au bout de ses rêves,” or “Stay standing and see your dreams through.”
The description says he will discuss the creation of an outdoor free-fall simulator and the setbacks, persistence and determination involved in the project.
The conference is framed around entrepreneurship and perseverance rather than a television or film production.
It offers the actor and former television host an opportunity to speak directly about a business chapter of his career.
What the Sommet de l’Abondance is offering
The Drummondville summit features a range of speakers covering business, finance, health, personal development and emotional well-being.
Saturday’s schedule began at 9:30 a.m. and included sessions on identity, energy, decision-making, financial planning and overcoming disappointment.
Lemay-Thivierge’s presentation was one of the afternoon sessions.
The second day begins at 10 a.m. and continues with talks on relationships, meditation, personal resilience, intention and other approaches to personal growth.
Organizers say the event is intended for entrepreneurs, self-employed workers and people looking for practical ideas related to personal and professional development.
A different kind of public return
Lemay-Thivierge’s scheduled appearance came after a period in which he maintained a lower public profile.
His participation was announced in September, when he also returned to social media to promote the event.
The conference does not represent a confirmed return to a regular television role.
Instead, it places the Quebec actor in the role of speaker, drawing on his experience in entertainment and business.
That distinction matters for audiences following his career.
The event is a scheduled speaking engagement, not an announcement of a new television series, film or hosting contract.
