International Student Injured By The Shooter Died In Hamilton – The Halton Regional Police Service reported and named a second man victim of a double shooting that occurred in Milton and Mississauga on Saturday.

As per the press release, Satwinder Singh, 28, of Milton, died peacefully with his loved ones at his side at the Hamilton General Hospital.

At the time of the incident, Satwinder was an Indian foreign student working part-time at MK Auto Repairs.

Satwinder’s relative Aman Panesar created a GoFundMe page to aid his family which already received donation of $46,253.

As per the fundraiser, Satwinder was a devoted son, brother, and grandchild. He loved to read and write, which gave him the motivation to pursue poetry.

In India, he earned both his BBA and MBA in marketing before moving to Canada to pursue a degree in global business management.

He attended Conestoga College as an overseas student, and he graduated in August 2022. He was supporting himself financially by working sporadic hours at an auto body business.

 “This is heartbreaking news for our community which hasn’t even begun to heal from Monday’s traumatic events. I urge everyone to reach out and ask for help if they need it”
